What was the first film you can recall seeing as a child, or one that had an indelible impact on you?

Probably Toy Story 2 , and I will still watch it. But the first one I can really remember was Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron , the animated Dreamworks movie. I was a horse girl growing up, so that one definitely had a big impact on me. Looking back on it now, none of the animals spoke! Usually in a kids’ movie all the animals – and everything else – talks. But in this film they just did everything that normal horses would do.

What’s the best thing about working in movies at JB?

What’s your all-time favourite film andTV series, and why?

Seeing all the new movies that come in – there are so many! You get to expand your knowledge of movies and find new actors that you slowly become obsessed with. I became obsessed with Tom Hiddleston and Jake Gyllenhaal – I watched everything they were in, even if it wasn’t up my alley.

I love Donnie Darko . I’ve got Frank the bunny tattooed on my arm. I like how you can’t explain it, you just have to watch it. I made my mum watch it and caught her googling ‘What is Donnie Darko about?’ halfway through [laughs]. If you get it, you get it. I also loved Tag , with Jeremy Renner and Ed Helms. It’s really funny – I watched it again not long ago. TV shows, I love Lucifer and also The Night Manager – that one stars Tom Hiddleston, naturally, which is why I watched it. But you go in for Tom Hiddleston and stay for the drama; is he going to turn bad or is he already full-on bad?

Do you have a big collection at home?

I don’t own too many. I love wrestling, so I’ve got heaps of wrestling DVDs and some on VHS that my dad gave me. When it comes to movies I have everything from the MCU, aside from The Incredible Hulk . I still have all of my kids’ movies – I’m still a kid at heart!

What have you been watching lately that you would recommend?

Prisoners , with Jake Gyllenhaal and Hugh Jackman. It’s just so full-on in every scene. I wouldn’t watch it again, but I won’t deny how amazing that film was – it was so intense! And I loved Sonic the Hedgehog , which was so well done. My only criticism would be that James Marsden looked like he had too much blush on [laughs].
