Edge of Tomorrow Amusingly, some mistook the title of Doug Liman’s Edge of Tomorrow to be Live. Die. Repeat. due to its prominent tagline. The film offers a sci-fi twist on the Groundhog Day trope with Tom Cruise’s character being caught in a time loop during an alien invasion, repeatedly battling until victory. Co-starring Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton, Brendan Gleeson, and Australians Noah Taylor and Kick Curry, it delivers a thrilling blend of action and sci-fi. It’s an underrated movie worthy of revisiting.
