reconnect every time. How’s the ANC?

Our kids are always the benchmark of good noise cancelling, and writing this review over the school holidays provided exceptional testing conditions. The ANC on these earbuds is excellent. It practically eliminated the fights over iPads and consoles and worked well next to a construction site on the daily dog walk. There’s also a transparency mode activated by tapping the touchpad when you need a little environmental noise seepage to cut through. Are they good for working out? We ran these in with no issues of the buds working loose – they stayed

I n today’s marketplace, you can generally file earbuds into three groups: budget, mid-price, and premium. If music is a dominant passion in your life (read as an audiophile), we would suggest that nothing less than a top-shelf model should be in your shopping basket. Inside the Audio-Technica CONNECT app, users can tweak the aforementioned EQ and the call microphone. This has two settings – Natural Mode for areas where external noise is a concern and Noise-Reduction Mode for combating noisy or windy locations. There is a good spread of adjustable system settings, from Talk-Through adjustments to playback and call assigning. Final thoughts The AT-TWX7s offer a wide range of useful and customisable features for a pair of earbuds in this price range. Well designed and built, the buds deliver a great, balanced sound performance with broad appeal. They get the thumbs up from us.

On the buds is a touch button (we’re fans of tangible controls) that can cycle through play, pause, skip forward and back, and volume. ANC can be handily assigned to touch controls on the earbuds, making it easily accessible. In the app, all these controls can be customised to suit. How do they sound?
