They teased their fourth studio album with a series of online clues and codes, even working with an American TV weatherman, Chris Michaels, who dropped hints regarding when the band’s new music would be appearing. When the first single, Emergence , finally landed, it exploded online. A selection of YouTube comments helped to explain what the band was all about: “ Sleep Token literally feel like the fake scenarios you make in your head while looking at the sky and thinking of fantasy books .”

THE NAME GAME Angus Stone started releasing
music as Dope Lemon in 2016. “The songs were a little more trippy,” he explained, “and I guess it’s because we were tripping out a bit ourselves. And there was a bit of lemons going around, you could say.”
