Heads up, anime fans! This month brings a strong lineup of new releases (with ridiculously long titles), and we’ve spotlighted three standout titles that you’ll definitely want to add to your collection.
MY HERO ACADEMIA SEASON 7 PART 1 With Japan plunged into chaos at the hands of All For One and the Jailbreakers, All Might calls upon the mightiest hero in the West - Star and Stripe. Possessing an incredibly powerful Quirk that can quite literally rewrite the rules, it seems that victory is all but assured. However, things don’t go according to plan, resulting in disastrous consequences for Star and leaving a gaping void where Earth’s mightiest should be. As the Pro Heroes prepare for the all-out battle still to come, the students are left to question whether there’s any value in trying to save the villains at all. Blu-ray | Aug 6

of his monotonous life as a store clerk and longs to finally pursue his childhood
dream of becoming a true adventurer. His life takes a dramatic turn after a chance encounter with a member of the continent’s most powerful party, who takes him under their wing. After two gruelling years of intense training under the legendary Orichalcum Fist, Rick has transformed from a nobody into a force to be reckoned with. The only problem? No one else believes it. Now, Rick must prove his worth the only way he knows how, with his fists. Blu-ray | Aug 6
divorce. This single choice becomes the catalyst for two diverging narratives that unfold across alternate realities. Blending elements of reality-hopping, romance, emotional angst, and high-concept science fiction, the films offer a unique and thought-provoking experience. While the realities occasionally echo one another, this only adds depth to the overarching themes, enriching the story’s exploration of fate, choice, and human connection. Blu-ray | Aug 6
P oetry for Neanderthals is gloriously dumb fun for anyone who loves wordplay, and, erm, caveman grunts. The goal? Get your team to guess a naughty word or phrase. The catch, however, is that you can only use one-syllable words to describe it. If you mess up and say a multisyllable word? You’ll cop a whack with the inflatable slap stick. This adults-only version takes the original game’s simplicity and turns it up with risqué content that’s perfect for breaking the ice or breaking your friends’ composure. It’s a ridiculous blend of language skills and juvenile humour - think POETRY FOR NEANDERTHALS Age: 17+ Players: 2+ NSFW EDITION
T his game is exactly what it says on the box - a gloriously silly, high-energy excuse to swing padded weapons at your friends without getting arrested. Equal parts exercise, improv theatre, and childhood fantasy, it blends the thrill of mock combat with the safety of foam weapons. Players are armed with soft swords, given loose rules (you can’t hit the head, legs, or arms), and then unleashed into battle. No skill required - just enthusiasm and a total lack of shame. It’s all based around a card game. Players must collect cards in three colour sets, and the first to do so wins the game. However, there are challenges associated with collecting those cards, and these lead to the LET’S HIT EACH OTHER WITH FAKE SWORDS Age: 7+ Players: 3-6
charades meets Cards Against Humanity , with caveman vibes. Hilarious, fast-paced, and guaranteed to make you laugh, just don’t play it with your parents.
duels. It’s a full-body workout in disguise, but the laughter will distract you from the sweat. Great for kids’ birthday parties, game nights and even team bonding, it’s silly, it’s cathartic, but above all else, it’s ridiculously fun!
