DUNE (1984) - Limited Edition Sandbox - 4K UHD + 3-disc Blu-ray (Aug 20) The packaging alone for this incredible collection has to be seen to be believed. Featuring a tempered glass liquid sand pane displaying the rolling sands of Arrakis, this limited edition is the very definition of collectable! Once you overcome the amazement of its interactive box, you’ll find the contents equally impressive. Rediscover David Lynch’s original Dune , with the Theatrical Cut fully restored in 4K with Dolby Vision, and the Extended TV Version on Blu-ray. The three discs also include bonus content such as the feature-length documentary The Sleeper Must Awaken , audio commentaries, featurettes, interviews, and much more. This one is strictly limited and unlikely to be pressed again, so be sure to grab it while stocks last.
THE CINEMA OF POWER & PRESSBURGER - COLLECTION 1 (1939-1947) (Sep 3) Here’s one for the true cinephiles: Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger’s legendary partnership redefined British cinema with visually stunning, imaginative storytelling. Now, Imprint Films presents six key entries from the first eight years of their collaboration, including the worldwide Blu-ray debut of A Canterbury Tale (1944). Other titles included are The Spy in Black (1939), 49th Parallel (1941), The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943), A Matter of Life and Death (1946), and Black Narcissus (1947). Among the many bonus features are new audio commentaries, featurettes, interviews, and more.
