boost. Where the Z Fold6 featured a 50MP camera, great for capturing stunning shots, the Galaxy Fold7 ups that to an incredible 200MP pro-grade camera, aligning it with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.

An upgraded display The Galaxy Z Fold6 is no slouch when it comes to its outer and inner displays – a 6.3-inch dynamic AMOLED 2x cover screen when closed, hitting a 2376 x 968 resolution. When opened, it expands to a big 7.6 inches, with a total screen resolution of 2160 x 1856. Impressive as that is, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is even bigger, and offers higher resolutions. The cover screen measures 6.5 inches and when the phone is unfolded, you're looking at a spacious 8-inch, 2184 x 1968 display, giving you an even greater tablet-like experience. You might expect faster power consumption as a result, but in fact the Galaxy Z Fold7's battery life is just a smidge better, supporting 24 hours of video playback to the Fold6's 23 hours.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, the latest foldable phone from the tech giant, takes some big steps forward. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Mobile processor from the Fold6 has been upgraded to the superior Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in the Fold7, and with this upgrade comes 38% faster processing than the Fold6, as well as some expanded AI features. Samsung's Galaxy AI with Gemini Live can now work seamlessly across all your apps and be accessed from the cover screen for easier use. Moreover, Samsung's convenient Now Brief feature – a round-up of your day ahead, including weather, news, and appointments – is also available on the new Galaxy Z Fold7. Connectiviity-wise, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is ready for the next generation Wi-Fi 7 and the latest Bluetooth v5.4, whereas the Fold6 supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3. Ultimately, while the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 is still a terrific flagship phone, the Galaxy Z Fold7 has it beat on camera, display size, and power.
Super-slim design The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 has an elegant design, and when folded it doesn't take up much space, with a thickness of just 12.1mm. However, Samsung knew that they could do better – the Galaxy Z Fold7 has been redesigned to make it the thinnest foldable phone the brand has released to date, with a thickness of just 8.9mm. It's the first Samsung Fold phone to crack the centimetre barrier, and you'll certainly feel the difference in your pocket.
The best camera yet Both the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Fold7 sport multiple cameras. The ultra-wide and telephoto cameras on the Fold7 are the same resolution as those on the Fold6, at 12MP and 10MP respectively, while the front camera has received a slight upgrade, jumping from 4MP to 10MP for clearer selfies. The major change is with the main wide angle camera, which has received a significant
