NOW YOU SEE ME, NOW YOU DON’T THIRD TIME’S THE CHARM

NowYou See Me: NowYou Don’t returns the Four Horsemen to the spotlight with the same confidence, swagger, and love of spectacle that made the first two films such crowd-pleasers.

(L to R) Justice Smith, Ariana Greenblatt, Dominic Sessa, Jessse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco DYK? Isla Fisher had a near-death experience while making the first film, when her handcuffs jammed as she was submerged underwater.

A glossy, fast-talking heist caper where the twists matter more than realism, Australia’s Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Dave Franco reprise their roles, Morgan Freeman returning as nemesis-turned-mentor Thaddeus Bradley. Since disappearing from public view ten years ago - as suddenly as one of their jaw-dropping illusions – a trio of young magicians have followed in the Horsemen’s path, breathing fresh air into this third installment. This trio of audacious wannabes have been honing their craft for years on the streets and in underground warehouse shows. But their shows

become too public online, summoning the very real figure of The Horsemen’s cocky, control freak illusionist leader J. Daniel Atlas (Eisenberg) himself. “Atlas feels condescension towards the young team, at least initially,” says Eisenberg. “He confronts them for deep-faking the Horsemen, which got the cops on Atlas’s back again. He also criticises their show, which he thinks is somewhat poorly executed. “Atlas’s aim is to teach and shepherd them, but he becomes irritated when sometimes they don’t listen,” he says. But before Atlas can succeed with his plans for the “new” Horsemen, someone needs to round up the

originals, who have drifted off to... who knows where. As the original fourth Horseman, Fisher’s master escape artist Henley Reeves brought an unconventional edge to the quartet. But recently, Henley has been busy as a mum. Ironically, it was a real-life pregnancy that prevented the actress from reprising her role in the second film. “I was thrilled to return because the Now You See Me films are a love letter to magic,” says Fisher. “And Henley has changed a lot since we last saw her; she’s a mum, with all the responsibilities that come with that. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon takes another big step forward in Season 3, both creatively and logistically, with the series shifting production to Spain for the first time.

T he switch in location from France offers a new and refreshed aesthetic for fans. Shot across various regions of Madrid, the country’s diverse landscapes and historic architecture give the season a distinct sense of place, helping reinforce the feeling that Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier are truly far from home. Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride return as Daryl and Carol, continuing their long-running partnership that dates back to the earliest days of The Walking Dead . Season 3 also expands the cast with new faces including Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Alexandra Masangkay, and Stephen Merchant, bringing fresh energy and perspectives to the story. Following the events of the second

season, Daryl and Carol continue to navigate a dangerous, fractured Europe. New communities, shifting alliances, and relentless threats test their survival skills and resilience. And with each step, the apocalypse feels bigger and more unpredictable, testing their bond and determination to persevere. McBride became a permanent fixture in the series from Season 2 and for Reedus, working with her again was part of the draw. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be working side by side with the brilliant Melissa McBride. Season 2 is some of my favourite storytelling of this series. Watching Melissa shine along with our brilliant cast and crew has been one of my

fondest memories playing this character.” Likewise, McBride is ecstatic to have worked in such a unique location. “I’m really appreciating the new challenges for Daryl and Carol being so far from all they’ve ever known... what it means for them, what it brings for each of them, apart and together...
