Lollipop Star

Have you ever wanted to be spirited away to “a universe where taste meets sound, and every flavour has a frequency”? Well, now you can! While missing an obvious opportunity to be star-shaped, the Lollipop Star does otherwise fulfil the intended brief. Set to be available in three flavours – peach, blueberry, and lime – each Lollipop Star will play a pop song in your head, by variously Ice Spice, Akon, or Armani White. How does it pull off this feat? By using bone conduction technology, whereby the lollipop stick emits vibrations that resound through your teeth and beyond to your skull and finally the inner ear. So yes, you’ll have popstar voices in your head. Sweet!

GLYDE Hair Clipper Blokes, would you entrust your next haircut to an AI-powered device? If so, then GLYDE, billed as “the world’s first smart hair clipper” is just for you. Declaring that it makes the haircutting process simple and stress free, to get your latest look happening you just select what you want in an accompanying app, and within ten minutes say hello to a fresh head once the device does its thing. A buzz cut? Side part? Perhaps a classic crew cut? Or, soon to come, user-submitted ‘dos. Packed with built-in sensors to detect speed, tilt, and angle, it uses AI-powered cutting guidance and “auto-fade technology” to achieve its results, and the makers claim that no experience is necessary and that it’s mistake-proof.

Mui Board Smart home tech is brilliant, granting us levels of control that we’d only previously dreamed of. But, for some, it can be a little overwhelming. The Mui Board aims to bring some chill to the smart home experience, by letting users control everything from their smart lights to smart locks, thermostats, blinds, and pretty much anything else that’s described as “smart” from a natural and calming interface. When not in use, it just looks like you’ve fastened a hunk of wood to your wall. Coming in either natural maple or dark cherry, as well as being a powerful Matter control hub that includes a speaker and microphone, the Mui Board can also be used as a noticeboard. Just hand-scribble anything you want, and it will light up when enabled. AF
