My earliest video game memory is getting my first DS and playing The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, Super Mario 64 DS, and Mario Kart DS .

What’s your all-time favourite game or game series?

Without a doubt Halo. It was the first series that I was able to convince my dad to play games with me, playing split-screen campaign on Halo: Master Chief Collection . I think my dad was more excited than I was!

I’m currently going through the entire Halo series again, but this time against my dad, and attempting to complete all campaigns on Legendary difficulty before he can.

You can only have one games console from any era – what would it be and why?

The ability to come in and feel as if I’m not working, but instead just continuing my day as normal. Also, being able to talk about something that I’m not only passionate about and immersed in, but to share that with customers, is why I went for the games sales co-ordinator position.

Despite missing out on the era, my one console would be the Nintendo 64. To go back and experience nothing else except games such as Super Mario 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time .

1 What’s the first game that you remember playing? I remember playing some of my dad’s Atari games on a very small, portable four-inch TV set. I don’t think I knew what I was doing, but I remember some Cookie Monster game and some other game with tanks. The games I remember being able to play properly due to being a bit older were things like Super Ghouls n’ Ghosts, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Super Mario Bros .

2 What was the last game that you finished? Death Stranding . I got it last Christmas and fell in love with it. Being a new dad myself meant the game really hit me in the feels. I won’t spoil anything, but I’d really recommend it as an experience. It’s not just a delivery simulator. 3 What’s your favourite video game/series of all time? It’s really hard to name just a single favourite game or series, I’ve played so much! But the games I would call my favourites would include things like Half-Life, Battlefield, Counter-Strike, Left 4 Dead, and Shenmue 1 and 2 .

4 What do you think is the most underrated video game of all time? That’s a really tough question, but I’d probably have to mention Death Stranding again. While it can take a little to get into the swing of things, once you do it’ll have you hooked. 5 What’s the game that you most wish you’d worked on? I’m a huge fan of the Battlefield games, particularly Battlefield 3 , which I think for me was the peak of the series so far. So, working on that would have been great.
